Text Messaging Terms

By texting the business first. Businesses that use Renous publish their phone number on their website, listings, and signage and invite customers to call or text it. A customer who sends a text message to that number has started the conversation and agrees to receive replies about their question or request.

By saying yes on a phone call.When a caller books an appointment by phone, the Renous AI receptionist asks this exact question before any text is sent, saying the business’s name:

“Would you like [Business Name] to text you a confirmation for this appointment at the number you’re calling from? Texts come from [Business Name] and are delivered through its AI business assistant service, Renous. They’re only about your appointments, so just a few messages. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP anytime to opt out.”

A confirmation is texted only if the caller says yes. If they decline, no text messages are sent about that appointment.

Replies to questions you text the business, and confirmations, reschedule notices, and cancellations for appointments you book. The first reply in a conversation names the business, and appointment texts include opt-out instructions. Renous does not send marketing or promotional messages.

Message frequency varies with your conversation and bookings. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOPto any message to stop receiving texts from that business’s number. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages. Reply START to opt back in. Reply HELP for help, or email support@renous.ai.
